The LITTLE BIG BAND is the modern sound of Nashville blended with the very best of classic rock. The group is ideal for festivals, dance venues, and every other place where people gather to have a good time. The LITTLE BIG BAND has been performing hits from the 60's through today throughout Skagit and Whatcom counties since 2010. When you choose the LITTLE BIG BAND for your event, you will benefit from the highest standard of professionalism and entertainment.
STEVE "RAGE-ON" GRUENHEIT was born in a crossfire hurricane with the sound of six strings running through him. Steve has been playing guitar in the group from the time of its formation, and also offers lead and background vocals. It is obvious to all audience members that joy emanates from Steve when he plays. Apart from being a stellar performer and guitar player, he is known in some circles as a modern day philosopher.
DAVID "SUPER DAVE" SCHOTT is the group's drummer, percussionist, and resident groove-maker. He also covers lead and background vocals. He is a veteran of professional show bands and touring ensembles, and has performed on both the east and west coasts. When Dave plays the rhythm will reach out and grab you. He also performs stand-up comedy on rare occasions - just kidding about the comedy.
LEE PENCE is the group's keyboard player and occupies a guitar role. He has accompanied Emmylou Harris and BJ Thomas, among others, and is an alumni of Cornish College of the Arts. Lee brings a unique, discerning sense of musical phrasing to the stage. He rocks.
